Job summary

Athene in Phoenix seeks a seasoned VP Sales, Defined Contribution to drive sales of Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income to retirement advisors in an assigned territory. You will lead relationship building with recordkeepers and advisors, and own the territory plan and annual targets.

This role also involves working with product and investment teams to tailor solutions for retirement plans and sponsors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales with proven quota attainment.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required; ERISA knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Own annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera DC offering.
• Develop territory plan with priority advisors and measurable outcomes.
• Lead advisor education and field events with product specialists.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners for joint meetings and campaigns.
• Drive adoption through partnerships with Global Wealth field teams.
• Use CRM data and AI tools to refine targeting and pipeline discipline.
