Athene is seeking a VP of Sales, Defined Contribution to drive the sale of DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income to retirement advisors within an assigned territory. The role reports to the Head of DC Wealth Distribution and requires collaboration with internal colleagues to identify opportunities and drive adoption.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in retirement plan sales, strong advisor relationships, and knowledge of DC markets; FINRA credentials are required.

Competenze

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales or equivalent experience.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong knowledge of defined contribution market and ERISA fundamentals.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required.

Mansioni

• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams to convert partnerships into local adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, activity cadence, and measurable sales outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations with product specialists for depth.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings, campaigns and opportunities.
• Use CRM data, market intelligence and AI tools to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
