Athene is actively seeking a VP of Sales for Defined Contribution to drive the Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income offerings to retirement advisors across an assigned territory. The role reports to the Head of DC Wealth Distribution and requires 70%+ travel within the territory.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in retirement plan sales, established advisor relationships, and deep knowledge of DC markets and ERISA fundamentals.

Formación

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales with a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Knowledge of the defined contribution market and ERISA fundamentals; ability to develop the other capability.
• Strong presentation skills; FINRA Series 6/63 or Series 7 required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or related field; equivalent experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo DC and Vitera offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors and measurable sales outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations with product specialists.
• Coordinate with Apollo’s Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
• Use CRM data and AI tools to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
