Athene is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Defined Contribution private assets and Vitera guaranteed income to drive advisor adoption in an assigned United States territory. The role reports to the Head of DC Wealth Distribution and requires building strong relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeepers.

You will lead strategic territory planning, educate advisors, coordinate with partners, and push for growth across both offerings while traveling extensively to engage key

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong command of advisor-led and recordkeeper channels and home office relationships.
• Knowledge of defined contribution market and ERISA fundamentals; expertise in private assets or guaranteed income.
• Strong presentation skills and sound judgment.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Drive sales of Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income to retirement advisors in an assigned territory.
• Work with recordkeeper partners and field organizations to identify opportunities and drive adoption.
• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera DC offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams; convert partnerships to local adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, activity cadence, and measurable milestones.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations; bring in product specialists as needed.
• Coordinate with Apollo’s Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage and win together.
• Collaborate with recordkeeper partners on meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
• Use CRM data, market intelligence, and AI tools to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
