Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Newark is seeking a Vice President to lead Data Strategy within the CCOR data management organization. You will own data products, coordinate between providers and consumers, and help ensure data is trusted for decision-making.

The role focuses on mitigating data risks, improving data quality, and enabling AI/ML initiatives with a central data platform. You will work with CCOR leadership and technology partners, guiding teams to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in data management, governance, or risk analytics.
• Proven leadership with ability to manage delivery timelines.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, lifecycle, data quality, and protection.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to translate data into strategy.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale data projects.
• Knowledge of data modeling.
• Hands-on SQL; Python and PySpark experience required.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategic plans to deliver data solutions aligned with goals.
• Own data product lines for CCOR Data Lake with requirements, design, tests, and delivery.
• Manage project execution, risks, bottlenecks and efficiency.
• Collaborate with partners to document data meaning and metadata.
• Develop processes to identify, monitor and mitigate data risks.
• Partner with CDO & technology teams to design tools for data management.
• Develop prototypes for data visualization and analytics with CCOR teams.
• Communicate and resolve data issues ensuring data integrity.
• Manage and mentor staff on data-related tasks.
