Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President in Data Management Strategy to shape the firm’s AI-ready data program.

You will define the data strategy, lead cross‑functional initiatives, and partner with senior leaders to drive governance, standards, and product-oriented data platforms. In this role, you will articulate strategic plans, build operating models, mentor juniors, and deliver executive-ready analyses and presentations that advance data capabilities across lines of business and

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in data, analytics, or product roles.
• Experience with strategy development and problem-solving in consulting, technology, banking, or internal strategy teams.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables.
• Proven leadership and influencing capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields.
• Familiarity with AI and data management to engage stakeholders on complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define the Chief Data Office vision and target-state strategy with actionable plans.
• Establish scope and prioritization of data management initiatives.
• Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to top priorities.
• Collect, synthesize, analyze, and present project data and findings.
• Conduct analyses to identify issues and formulate recommendations.
• Develop strategic presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Perform competitor and industry research using public and internal sources.
• Monitor industry trends and share reports with senior stakeholders.
• Coach and manage junior team members.
