Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Vice President, Data Governance – Data Use to lead data-use governance and risk management across global lines. You will own end-to-end management of data-use cases, from intake and classification through review, decisioning, and ongoing monitoring.

You will set strategy for responsible data use and drive execution across high-impact initiatives, balancing innovation with strong controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services or data governance/risk management
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution
• Strong written and verbal communication with executive-level materials

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data-use governance across global lines, including intake, classification, review and monitoring
• Lead governance forums to drive timely decisions and accountability
• Define objectives and execution plans for data governance initiatives
• Improve governance processes and decision workflows for scalability and speed
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritize initiatives
• Drive transformation from concept through adoption and change management
• Translate governance topics into clear recommendations for senior leadership
• Coordinate cross-functional deliverables and ensure follow-through across teams
• Engage with legal, privacy, cybersecurity, technology and control partners to set guardrails
• Maintain a centralized inventory of data-use and third-party data usage
