Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Vice President, Data Governance – Data Use within the Chief Data Office of the Commercial & Investment Bank.

You will lead data-use governance and risk management across global lines, owning end-to-end data-use cases from intake to monitoring. You will set strategy for responsible data use and drive high-impact initiatives, balancing innovation with strong controls and collaborating with legal, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, and technology partners.

Qualifications

• 10 years of financial services experience in data governance, risk management, and controls.
• Experience managing and developing small to mid-sized teams.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution and deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data-use case management across global business lines, including intake, classification, review, decisioning, and monitoring.
• Lead governance routines and forums to drive timely decisions, track actions, and improve transparency and accountability.
• Define objectives and deliver execution plans for strategic data governance and responsible data-use initiatives.
• Enhance governance processes and decision workflows to improve scalability, consistency, and speed with controls.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and prioritize initiatives aligned to evolving business, regulatory, and data governance needs.
• Drive transformation efforts from concept through implementation, including problem framing and change management.
• Translate complex governance and risk topics into clear recommendations and updates for senior leadership.
