Job summary

WISEcode is seeking a VP of Data Platform & Engineering to own the substrate under every data pillar and drive a portfolio of internal data products from conception to deployment.

You will set the AI-native engineering standard across the data org, build gold-certified data contracts, and enforce least-privilege access while delivering observable, secure, and scalable data platforms at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, data platform, or infrastructure, with leadership experience.
• Track record building data products and teams from zero to one.
• Strong data-security, access control, and governance discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform as a portfolio of data products with clear contracts to domain teams.
• Define gold-certification by code and promote quality through written criteria.
• Stand up observability to monitor platform health and performance.
• Lead data security and governance, enforcing least privilege and secure access.
• Manage data engineering ICs and drive delivery with automation.
