Job summary

FourFound is seeking a VP, Development to lead the origination and development of hyperscale data center sites. This remote role focuses on sourcing, diligence, permitting and project execution in multiple time zones across CT, MT, and PT.

Responsibilities include evaluating power, interconnection, fiber, land constraints, and negotiating land acquisitions. You will influence prioritization and advance projects from origination to readiness with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in gas, wind, or data center development.
• Track record advancing projects through diligence, permitting and pre-construction.
• Strong understanding of power infrastructure, utility coordination, zoning and entitlement pathways.

Responsibilities

• Lead site sourcing, screening and diligence across target markets for hyperscale development.
• Evaluate sites across power availability, interconnection potential, fiber access, land constraints and viability.
• Advance projects through land control, entitlement, permitting and early development milestones.
• Support negotiations for land acquisitions, options, easements and related development agreements.
• Partner with utilities, consultants and agencies on infrastructure planning and strategies to support site readiness.
• Help prioritize markets based on development feasibility, power dynamics, incentives and speed-to-market.
• Work with internal teams to transition sites from origination through development readiness.
• Support pipeline planning, project strategy and investment materials for leadership decisions.
• Contribute to development processes, tools and best practices as the platform scales.
