JCW Group in New York seeks a VP/Senior Relationship Manager for Corporate Banking. This role focuses on originating new US and Canadian corporate relationships, with credit risk ownership and team leadership responsibilities.

You will travel to meetings, oversee due diligence, and close deals from first contact to close. You will collaborate with Credit Admin, Operations, and legal counsel to tailor lending solutions, maintain strict KYC/AML standards, and mentor an Assistant RM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years international banking experience.
• 3+ years marketing to US corporate clients.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance, receivables, and corporate lending.
• Independent, resilient, and strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Originate new US and Canadian corporate relationships, hunting mandate, not portfolio caretaking.
• Travel to meet target clients, conduct due diligence, and close from first contact to close.
• Match client needs to the bank’s lending and product set, coordinating with Credit Admin, Operations, and Bank counsel.
• Own credit risk monitoring on your portfolio, including annual reviews and covenant compliance.
• Maintain KYC, AML, and BSA compliance across your book.
• Line manage an Assistant RM.
