Job summary

Addison Group seeks a VP/Controller to lead all aspects of finance for a leading specialty finance platform in Sherman Oaks, CA. You will oversee reporting, forecasting, and controls, including SOX compliance, under US GAAP, with a focus on loan/debt accounting.

You will report to the Executive Team, manage A/P, A/R, month-end close, and loan funding, while driving automation, systems roadmap, SEC and internal reporting, budgeting with Strategy & Analytics, and investor materials.

Qualifications

• CPA with 8+ years of accounting leadership in financial services.
• Strong SEC and SOX credentials.
• Proven ability to scale infrastructure and lead finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and controls including SOX compliance.
• Ensure audit-ready accounting under US GAAP with focus on fair value loan/debt accounting.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, month-end close, and loan funding; drive automation and systems roadmap.
• Provide SEC and internal management reporting, budgeting with Strategy & Analytics, and investor materials.
