Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a high-impact finance leader to manage the accounting function in Dallas, Texas. You will work directly with the President to enhance financial visibility and support strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in financial leadership, strong GAAP knowledge, and ideally a CPA or CMA certification. This position offers opportunities for operational discipline and growth as the company scales.

Qualifications

Job description

This is a high-impact finance leadership role at a company in growth mode. You’ll own the accounting function end-to-end while helping build the financial foundation needed to scale across systems and processes. You’ll work directly with the President and play a key role in driving financial visibility, operational discipline, and smarter decision-making.

What You’ll Own:

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Lead the month-end close process
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong financial controls

Process & Infrastructure

• Build and refine accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Develop scalable processes as the business grows

Cash, Banking & Compliance

• Monitor cash flow and oversee financial transactions
• Manage banking relationships and compliance reporting
• Coordinate tax filings with external advisors

Strategic Finance & Insights

• Analyze financial performance and surface actionable insights to leadership
• Support pricing and quoting decisions with financial data

Growth Enablement

• Help lay the groundwork for future growth initiatives
• Work with the Leadership Team for strategy & projections

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred)
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred
• 5+ years recent experience in financial leadership or accounting role
• Strong foundation in GAAP and financial reporting
• ERP implementation or upgrade experience
• Experience in construction, distribution, or project-based environments
• Comfort operating in a PE-backed or high-growth setting
