Addison Group seeks a VP/Controller in Sherman Oaks, CA to lead financial reporting, forecasting, controls, and governance for a fast-growing specialty finance platform. You will manage the full accounting function, drive process improvements, and partner with executives on budgeting and investor materials.

The candidate should be a CPA with 8+ years of leadership in financial services, strong SEC/SOX credentials, and a track record of scaling finance infrastructure.

Qualifications

• CPA with 8+ years of accounting leadership in financial services.
• Strong SEC and SOX credentials with a builder mindset to scale infrastructure.
• Experience leading accounting teams and interfacing with strategy & analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial reporting, forecasting, and controls, including SOX compliance and audit readiness.
• Provide US GAAP guidance with focus on fair value loan and debt accounting.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, month-end close and loan funding; drive automation and systems roadmap.
• Manage SEC and internal management reporting, annual budgets with Strategy & Analytics, and investor materials.
