Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in an investments-related business or function such as control management, internal audit, compliance, or project management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Experience documenting risks and controls across end-to-end processes.
• Experience advising on business changes with a focus on control design and sustainability.
• Experience tracking risk and control gaps through governance or issue management.
• Experience coordinating regulatory exams, audits, or compliance reviews.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and remediation planning with milestones.
• Experience communicating clearly to senior stakeholders and control partners.
• Experience collaborating across multiple functions in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across legal, compliance, risk, operations, technology, and internal audit to understand strategies and end-to-end processes.
• Assess operational and compliance risks and advise on practical, sustainable controls.
• Provide constructive challenge to strategic initiatives with risk perspectives.
• Identify emerging risks, gaps, and trends and escalate with actions and timelines.
• Build governance and monitoring insights using analytics, automation, and AI capabilities.
• Coordinate regulatory exams, internal audits, and compliance engagements, including readiness planning.
• Support new business initiatives by identifying risks and confirming procedures, controls, and training needs.
• Support control assessments and testing with SME expertise and independent testing teams.
• Guide issue management and remediation, defining root causes and milestones, tracking progress to closure.
