Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President Control Manager in Wealth Management Solutions to lead and strengthen operational and compliance risk management across the investments business. You will partner with leaders to assess risks, design sustainable controls, and guide remediation while leveraging data and automation to improve governance.

This role offers exposure to strategic change and regulatory examinations, with a focus on sustainable risk practices as the business evolves.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in an investments-related business or function.
• Experience documenting risks and controls across end-to-end processes.
• Experience coordinating regulatory exams, audits, or compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across legal, compliance, risk, operations, technology, and internal audit to understand strategies, products, and processes.
• Assess operational and compliance risks and advise on practical, sustainable controls for ongoing processes and changes.
• Provide constructive challenge to strategic initiatives with clear risk and control perspectives.
• Identify emerging risks, gaps, and trends and escalate concerns with actions and timelines.
• Build governance and monitoring insights using analytics, automation, and AI capabilities.
• Coordinate regulatory exams, internal audits, and compliance engagements, including readiness planning.
• Support new business initiatives by identifying risks and ensuring procedures, controls, and readiness for launches.
• Support control assessments and testing by partnering with independent testing teams.
• Guide issue management and remediation by defining root causes and milestones.
