Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Vice President Control Manager within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) organization to lead an enhanced control framework across products and processes. Qualifications

• 7+ years working in financial services, with experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, or operational risk management.
• Risk management and controls: makes independent risk-based decisions, develops escalation procedures and control frameworks, advises across Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk.
• Change management: designs and executes strategies for complex initiatives, drives adoption with minimal disruption, integrates risk and controls into product delivery.
• Influence: persuades stakeholders in complex scenarios with data-driven arguments, builds cross-functional relationships across Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk.
• Internal stakeholder management: manages relationships across CCB, Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk, tailors communication to diverse audiences.
• Communication & presentation: designs and delivers high-impact presentations to senior management, crafts executive-level communications.
• Teamwork: leads cross-functional teams, fosters collaboration across Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk.
• Knowledge sharing & lessons learned: leads structured knowledge transfer, creates repositories, synthesizes lessons into improvements.
• Analytical thinking & decision making: conducts sophisticated analysis, identifies root causes, evaluates options, facilitates alignment.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the design and execution of forward-thinking control strategies to proactively identify and neutralize compliance and operational risks
• Harness advanced data analytics, automation, and technology to decode business needs, anticipate trends, and deliver solutions that elevate the control environment
• Partner with Operations Product and Technology stakeholders to identify emerging risks, strengthen control effectiveness, and support the implementation of risk and control requirements across products, transformation initiatives, and agile delivery processes
• Drive consistency in product control management and agile control sustainability practices across the Operations portfolio by partnering with Operations product control managers, providing guidance on control requirements, and promoting consistent application of control frameworks and governance practices
• Inspire and guide cross-functional stakeholders, cultivating a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and alignment with the organizational vision
• Forge strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, driving open communication and collaboration to uphold integrity and achieve strategic milestones
