Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and/or testing, adjusting, and balancing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and commissioning software such as CxAlloy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry competitors and market context.
• ANSI Commissioning Certification Credentials (e.g. BCCB, ACG, ASHRAE).
• PE license and PMP certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the alignment of internal operational aspects of successful project delivery.
• Partner with accounting leadership to monitor financial aspects of operations.
• Ensure quality control for commissioning approaches and deliverables.
• Develop an efficient organizational structure and establish a succession plan.
• Drive consistent cross-organizational communication across commissioning, engineering and construction leaders.
• Mentor Directors and PMs in business planning and analytics.
• Establish budget controls and manage cost/benefit ratio.
• Strengthen client relationships through day-to-day operations.
• Conduct contract negotiation, management, and project interviews.
• Oversee workload forecasting, staffing, and performance management.
• Develop commissioning initiatives identified during strategic planning.
• Collaborate with leadership on global account management and internal communications.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in commissioning.
