Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Commissioning Vice President to lead a profitable commissioning division with a focus on best practices, process improvements, and team leadership. You will drive alignment of operations, budgeting, and client relationships while mentoring senior staff to sustain growth.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 15+ years in building construction (MEP, TB, and related systems), proficiency with Word, Excel and CxAlloy, and ANSI commissioning credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience with building construction, especially MEP systems and/or T&B.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and CxAlloy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple ongoing projects.
• ANSI Commissioning Certification credentials.
• Preferred PMI PMP Certification and PE License.
• Willingness to travel 25–40%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate alignment of internal operational aspects of successful project delivery.
• Partner with accounting leadership to monitor financial aspects.
• Ensure quality control for commissioning approach and deliverables.
• Develop efficient organizational structure and succession planning.
• Drive cross-functional communication with leaders across commissioning, engineering and construction.
• Mentor Directors and Project Managers in business and analytics.
• Establish budget controls and coordinate project changes to optimize cost/benefit.
• Strengthen client relationships through day-to-day operations.
• Conduct contract negotiations and project interviews.
• Oversee workload forecasting, staffing, and performance management.
• Develop commissioning initiatives identified during strategic planning.
• Coordinate with global marketing and internal communications.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in commissioning.
