Job summary

Defined.ai, a leading provider of high-quality, ethically sourced data for AI/ML model training, seeks a Vice President of Client Delivery. You will own end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of custom data product engagements, reporting to the CIO, and leading project managers to ensure quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction at the senior level.

The role demands deep knowledge of data products, data pipelines, and data quality, with strong executive presence for large commercial client

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project or program delivery leadership for external commercial clients.
• Experience managing teams of project managers, not just individual delivery.
• Track record managing large enterprise client relationships at senior levels.
• Strong fluency in data products, data pipelines, or data quality operations with AI/ML exposure.
• Experience in data services, data annotation/labeling, data licensing, or data-as-a-product business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a team of project managers delivering custom data products for clients.
• Establish delivery standards, methodologies, and team structure for multi-project portfolio.
• Serve as senior executive contact for clients across delivery lifecycle, managing scope, timelines, risks, and escalations.
• Own accountability for successful delivery of data collection and data quality engagements across concurrent projects.
• Define and govern KPIs and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement across the organization.
• Partner with CIO and executive team on delivery strategy and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with sales and account management to scope new engagements and with engineering/data science to resolve constraints.
• Translate model/data science needs into delivery specifications.
• Identify and lead improvements to delivery processes, tooling, and quality frameworks.
