HWThree, seeking a VP Capital Management Oversight, will join the Treasury Risk Management function to oversee capital adequacy and regulatory capital across the Americas. You will collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure sound capital management and risk oversight.

This individual contributor role focuses on challenging capital frameworks, reviewing regulatory requirements, and communicating insights to senior leadership. Hybrid schedule with competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in capital management, regulatory capital, stress testing, treasury, or risk management within a large U.S. bank or foreign banking organization.
• Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory capital requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex capital and risk matters to senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide independent oversight of capital ratios, capital adequacy, and capital management strategies across relevant legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Execute ongoing review and challenge of CET1, Tier 1, Total Capital, leverage ratios, RWA, leverage assets, and applicable capital buffers.
• Assess compliance with U.S. capital regulatory requirements and internal capital policies.
• Review and challenge CCAR and capital stress testing methodologies, assumptions, and results.
• Review the calibration and adequacy of internal capital limits, targets, and risk appetite measures.
• Prepare and present capital risk analyses and reporting to senior management, regional boards, and global risk committees.
• Partner with Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Business leadership to provide independent challenge around capital management strategies and actions.
• Identify, elevate, and monitor capital management issues, limit breaches, and emerging risks.
• Support the continuous enhancement of the second-line capital risk oversight framework.
• Support engagement with regional regulators on capital risk matters.
• Establish and maintain effective processes, documentation, and controls, with a focus on automation and operational efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with first-line Treasury teams while maintaining appropriate risk independence.
• Collaborate with global risk and Treasury colleagues across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
