Pathward, National Association is seeking a senior risk leader to oversee capital markets risk on the bank's second line of defense. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Financial Risk, you will shape the oversight program, challenge first line assumptions, and present independent risk conclusions to risk committees and the Board.

You will drive annual oversight planning, evaluate funds management, liquidity risk, and interest rate risk, and collaborate with Treasury while maintaining independence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; finance/economics/maths preferred.
• MBA or CFA is preferred.
• Typically 12+ years in banking, capital markets or financial services.
• 8+ years in capital planning, liquidity and interest rate risk.
• Experience communicating risk to regulators and audit firms.
• Experience presenting to executives, risk committees and boards.

Responsabilidades

• Own the second line oversight program for capital markets risk and annual plan.
• Direct independent evaluation of funds management and liquidity risk processes.
• Provide credible challenge to deposit assumptions and interest rate risk models.
• Assess risk in investments, counterparty exposures, currency translation, hedging strategies.
• Oversee exposure limits, KRIs and control design; escalate as needed.
• Represent risk on committees and sponsor new working groups.
• Collaborate with Treasury while preserving independence of conclusions.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, Model Risk Management and Compliance.
• Serve as primary second line contact for examiners and external auditors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
