Job summary

Electric Power Engineers seeks a VP / Senior Director of BTM Solutions and Private Grids in Austin to own strategy, growth, delivery quality, and the P&L for this high-impact practice. You will lead a multidisciplinary team across gas generation, Private Grid architectures, EMS/load orchestration, and controls for large data center campuses.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, shape offerings aligned with AI data center demand, and strengthen executive-level client relationships while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in power generation, mission-critical facilities, or large industrial energy systems with leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering, development, or delivery of large energy projects; ownership of P&L or sales accountability.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy and multiyear growth for BTM Solutions and Private Grids.
• Own the practice P&L, including sales, revenue, utilization, and margins.
• Recruit, lead, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Cultivate executive relationships with hyperscalers, data centers, IPPs, EPCs, and investors.
• Lead contract scoping, risk reviews, and margins for complex engagements.
