  • Demonstrated experience leading engineering, development, or delivery of gas generation facilities of 100 MW or larger; experience with BTM or islanded configurations serving critical loads strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of natural gas reciprocating engines and gas turbine power plants, CHP/CCHP, BESS, Private Grid architectures and controls (EMS/PPC), medium- and high-voltage electrical systems, and utility interconnections.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale or AI data center developments, including campuses exceeding 100 MW of critical load, strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record building or scaling an engineering practice, service line, or business unit, with P&L or sales accountability.
  • Experience serving as an Owner’s Engineer, Independent Engineer, EPC engineering executive, developer engineering leader, or senior consulting advisor; client-facing advisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Established network among data center developers, IPPs, EPCs, generation OEMs (e.g., Rolls-Royce mtu, Wärtsilä, Caterpillar, GE Vernova, Siemens Energy, Solar Turbines), and infrastructure investors.
  • Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, NFPA standards and applicable utility and environmental regulations, including air permitting considerations for gas generation, is preferred.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, and the judgment to operate independently in a senior market-facing role.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E. or P.Eng.) license strongly preferred.
  • Active participation in industry organizations, task forces, and/or working groups (IEEE, ESIG, or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly to improve quality, productivity and innovation

  • Successful recruitment and retention of the practice’s engineering team.
  • Delivery quality, client satisfaction, and repeat business on flagship engagements.
