Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Vice President, Benefits Strategy, to design and implement innovative employee benefit programs across health, wellness, retirement, and voluntary benefits. You will lead a team, align with Total Rewards, and partner with HR, Finance, and Legal to control costs while improving employee experience.

The role requires deep ERISA/ACA knowledge, strong leadership, analytics, and communications skills to influence senior leadership and drive strategic benefits

Qualifications

• Lead design and innovation of benefit plans for a large workforce.
• Experience in plan design, cost management, and innovation.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and continual innovation of employer-provided health and welfare benefits.
• Evaluate offerings and introduce forward-thinking solutions using data and feedback.
• Monitor trends and regulatory changes to improve programs.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal to optimize plans and costs.
• Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and management.
• Drive digital tools to improve employee access and experience.
• Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Communicate programs effectively to employees.
• Lead and develop a high-performing benefits team.
