Job summary

BNY seeks a seasoned Vice President, AV Technician/Engineer to lead end‑to‑end AV execution for live and hybrid events in NYC. You will plan, configure, and operate audio/video systems, work with executive clientele, and coordinate with internal teams and freelancers to ensure flawless delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in live event AV engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with the equipment and platforms listed above.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, stage, and safely deploy AV gear.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and operate AV systems for live and hybrid events.
• Program, configure, and run digital audio consoles, video switchers, routers, controllers, and playback systems.
• Mix FOH and broadcast audio, manage wireless systems, and maintain signal flow.
• Coordinate and operate collaboration platforms (Webex, Teams, Zoom, GlobalMeet) and codecs.
