Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking an AV Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain advanced AV environments across the Americas. You will lead projects, coordinate with Facilities, IT, and vendors, and ensure consistent standards across global teams.

The role focuses on conference rooms, training spaces, and live production areas with a strong emphasis on video conferencing and AV technology integration. You will work closely with regional teams, support ongoing evolution of systems, and contribute to AV

Qualifications

• 7+ years of AV experience in a commercial or corporate environment.
• Experience designing and implementing AV in conference rooms, training spaces, event spaces, live production spaces, and specialty environments.
• Experience leading global project planning, implementation, commissioning, and deployment of AV systems and technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex).
• Deep understanding of Q-SYS system design, deployment, and administration (Q-SYS Certification required).
• Proficiency with Audio DSP, video processing, and control systems (Biamp, Q-SYS, Extron, Christie, Crestron, Dante, Planar, Shure Axient, Ross Ultrix).
• Strong networking knowledge and AVoIP technologies.
• Ability to read AV infrastructure plans and design documentation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and evolve Bloomberg's collaboration spaces and AV infrastructure.
• Lead delivery of AV projects across the Americas and coordinate with Facilities, IT, Design, Procurement, and vendors.
• Oversee deployment, commissioning, and support for conference rooms, training rooms, and live production spaces.
• Develop and enforce AV standards, processes, and best practices.
• Provide troubleshooting support and analyze trends to improve stability.
• Collaborate with business teams to deliver internally developed and third-party AV platforms.
