Job summary

AVI-SPL in New York City seeks an experienced AV Maintenance Engineer to support a high-end immersive event center for a top professional services client. This role is 100% onsite and requires hands-on management of AV systems and performance.

You will ensure DVLED displays, interactive touch panels, and audio networks operate flawlessly, coordinate with client teams, and provide polished, white-glove service during events and trainings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of on-site and hybrid event AV experience.
• Experience with digital display technologies and immersive spaces.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting AV networks and signal paths.
• Familiarity with DVLED walls and windowing systems.
• Strong client-facing communication and professionalism.
• Knowledge of HDMI ingest devices and AV routing basics.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AV operations in immersive client environment.
• Support DVLED displays, touch panels, and related hardware.
• Act as primary escalation point for AV issues.
• Coordinate with client and remote teams for events.
• Maintain daily AV health checks and preventive maintenance.
• Document issues and resolutions for clients.
