Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Vice President, Teaching & Learning to shape onCourse, an AI-native platform for higher education. Lead growth by pairing market expertise with Clarivate’s university relationships, assets, and global reach. Drive revenue, strategy, and executive engagement with institutions and partners globally.

This senior role focuses on defining market opportunities, product vision, and a repeatable model for adoption and scale, across sales, marketing, and technology teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in higher education technology or enterprise edtech.
• 5+ years leading a business unit, product strategy, or GM functions.
• Experience launching or scaling disruptive software products or ventures.
• Experience owning go-to-market, product strategy, and pricing.
• Experience working with higher education institutions and enterprise customers.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, product, marketing, technology, and finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the business strategy, product direction, market development, and revenue growth for onCourse and related Teaching & Learning opportunities.
• Define market focus, customer segments, value proposition, growth model, and investment priorities.
• Set product vision and roadmap priorities in partnership with Technology, grounded in customer needs and commercial goals.
• Lead customer discovery, design partner engagement, and product-market fit validation to drive adoption.
• Own the revenue plan, go-to-market approach, pricing, pipeline strategy, and sales enablement in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Technology.
• Develop executive relationships with universities, design partners, early adopters, and strategic prospects to accelerate validation and pipeline creation.
• Drive pipeline creation, deal progression, customer conversion, and predictable commercial performance.
• Lead an integrated team across sales, product management, and product marketing while coordinating with technology, content, AI, finance, and operations.
• Align senior leaders around the business case, market opportunity, investment needs, and growth path.
