Job summary

New York Life Direct seeks a Manager of AI Enablement to lead the strategy and execution of AI initiatives across the Direct channel. You’ll build and mentor a multidisciplinary team, align opportunities with business value, and drive production deployments with measurable impact.

The role emphasizes agentic and generative AI, governance, security, and scalable architectures, partnering with Application Development, Data & Analytics, and Enterprise AI to deliver responsible innovation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading technical professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities including agentic, generative, predictive AI and ML.
• Experience guiding AI solutions from ideation to production with measurable value.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, data, automation.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy, roadmap, operating model for AI Enablement.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary AI team.
• Partner with leaders to identify, prioritize AI opportunities based on value and feasibility.
• Oversee end-to-end AI solution lifecycle, from discovery to production deployment and monitoring.
• Establish reusable AI capabilities, reference architectures, and governance practices.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, governance, and risk standards.
