Job summary

PIMCO Europe Ltd. is seeking a strategic, hands‑on leader to accelerate AI adoption, automation, and digital transformation across Global Operations.

You will oversee the Operations Digitalization and Process Re‑engineering team and partner with Technology, TASC, and external vendors to translate emerging tech into measurable improvements. You will lead a 5–6 person team, drive end‑to‑end process reviews, and shape the global transformation roadmap while maintaining tactical execution.

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in asset management, investment banking, or related fields.
Experience in AI strategy and implementation, digital transformation, and workflow automation.
Proven experience leading enterprise‑scale or function‑wide transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of 5‑6 direct reports focused on Operations digitalization, AI adoption, and process transformation.
Accelerate initiatives with cross‑functional partners across Operations including Tax, billing, fund governance.
Optimize use of third‑party AI firms and internal automation tools.
Drive adoption of AI, Copilot/Co‑Work and Appian based workflow tools across teams.
Lead end‑to‑end process reviews and re‑engineering initiatives.
Oversee rollout of automated workflow solutions and associated AI agents.
Align vendor strategies with PIMCO value creation and operational priorities.
Identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and controls.
