Job summary

New York Life Insurance Co. is seeking a Corporate Vice President - Integration Platform Architect to own and evolve the enterprise integration platform. You will drive adoption, define API standards, and lead end-to-end integration across core systems in a multi-cloud, hybrid environment.

Focus areas include AI-ready integrations, security guardrails, and DevOps integration. The role requires 10+ years in integration architecture, deep MuleSoft expertise, and a strong background in APIs,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in application integration and platform architecture.
• Expert-level MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience and integration tooling.
• Strong APIs, microservices and event-driven architectures expertise.
• Experience building and governing AI Agents, orchestration, RAG and autonomous workflows.
• Cloud-native integration with AWS and/or GCP.
• Security practices for API development and cloud architecture (OAuth/JWT/AWS IAM).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Define integration platform strategy aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Define standards for API development and integration patterns.
• Govern the integration platform, drive reuse, discoverability and adoption.
• Lead end-to-end integration across core and channel systems in a multi-cloud/hybrid environment.
• Ensure solutions align with standards and are delivered as designed.
• Enable AI-driven integrations with secure governance and observability.
