New York Life Insurance Co in New York, NY is seeking a Corporate Vice President to lead the Enterprise AI Platform, building the enterprise AI backbone on Google Cloud and guiding the first generation of agentic AI solutions across the business.

You will mentor senior engineers, shape the technical vision, and work with Security, Risk, Legal to ensure governance and compliance while delivering measurable business value at scale.

Competenze

• Experience leading enterprise AI platforms, ML platforms, developer platforms, or cloud‑native engineering platforms operating at production scale.
• Deep expertise with cloud architecture and modern infrastructure (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, containers, Terraform, CI/CD, networking, identity, observability.
• Strong experience designing and building production‑grade generative AI and agentic systems with memory, multi‑agent orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience implementing AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices within regulated industries.

Mansioni

• Define the technical vision and reference architecture across the enterprise AI platform.
• Own and execute the multi‑phase platform roadmap delivering foundational AI platform capabilities and reusable services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of senior AI engineers with hands‑on ownership of architecture and delivery.
• Partner with Security, Risk, Legal, and stakeholders to operationalize AI governance and ensure compliance with risk management standards.
• Drive cloud architecture decisions, build‑vs‑buy evaluations, and platform portability strategies using Google Cloud.
• Establish AI FinOps capabilities including cost attribution, dashboards, and budget guardrails.
