New York Life Insurance Co. is seeking a highly technical Enterprise AI Architect to serve as the platform anchor for AI solutions across the enterprise.

You will define architectures, patterns, and scalable capabilities, shaping how agents, memory services, and control planes collaborate at enterprise scale. The role demands senior, hands-on engineering leadership with a strong focus on cloud-native platforms, security, and governance.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience designing production-scale software platforms in cloud-native environments.
• Deep full-stack engineering expertise with production operations ownership.
• Strong cloud infrastructure experience: GCP, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability.
• Hands-on AI: generative AI, RAG, memory architectures, multi-agent patterns.
• secure, governed AI platforms with identity-aware controls and auditability.
• Python expert plus Go/Java/TypeScript familiarity.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and architectural reviews.
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Define and evolve enterprise reference architecture and reusable patterns.
• Build the platform's most challenging components e.g., AI lifecycles and memory services.
• Deliver intelligent agents and platform APIs to automate lifecycle and governance.
• Set software quality standards, CI/CD, IaC, and security-by-default practices.
• Mentor engineers, review complex designs, and drive engineering excellence.
• Ensure portability via open standards and cloud-native practices.
