Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC Public Risk Group seeks a Vice President, Actuarial and Business Operations to lead actuarial, compliance, and operations. You will partner with the President and leadership to drive pricing, profitability, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives across multi-state public risk lines.

The role requires extensive actuarial and financial leadership, strong executive communication, and a track record of building capable teams in a regulated insurance environment.

Qualifications

• ACAS designation required; FCAS preferred.
• 15+ years in property and casualty insurance with actuarial and leadership experience.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles within commercial/public entity insurance.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategy, regulatory matters, and growth initiatives.
• Knowledge of underwriting, claims, actuarial, compliance, finance, product, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic actuarial and business leadership to support pricing, profitability, and growth.
• Lead actuarial analyses and financial planning across products and lines.
• Oversee regulatory filings, governance, and compliance across multiple states.
• Build and develop high-performing teams and leadership talent.
• Translate complex data into clear recommendations for executives.
