Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC Public Risk Group is seeking a Vice President, Actuarial and Business Operations to lead actuarial, compliance, and business operations at the enterprise level. You will guide pricing strategy, profitability analyses, and reporting, partnering with underwriting and product management on portfolio strategy.

You will provide executive-level insights, develop scalable processes, and lead talent development across teams, ensuring disciplined cost management and strategic execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field; equivalent education/experience considered.
• ACAS designation required; FCAS designation preferred.
• 15+ years in P&C insurance with actuarial, business operations or leadership experience.
• 5+ years in senior leadership within a commercial or government insurance org.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic actuarial leadership to support pricing, profitability, and risk management.
• Lead actuarial and financial analyses across products and lines of business.
• Partner with Underwriting and Product Management on pricing strategies and portfolio management.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, reporting, and governance for multiple states.
• Build and mentor high-performing actuarial and operations teams.
