Tokio Marine HCC Public Risk Group is seeking a Vice President, Actuarial and Business Operations in a hybrid role based in Troy, MI. The leader will drive actuarial excellence, pricing strategies, and regulatory governance across multi-state public entity portfolios.

The role requires ACAS with FCAS preferred, and at least 15 years in P&C insurance, including 5+ years in senior leadership. You will shape profitability, operational processes, and executive communications.

Qualifications

• ACAS designation required; FCAS designation preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in property and casualty insurance.
• At least 5 years of senior leadership experience.
• Experience leading actuarial, regulatory, and financial performance initiatives.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategy and results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic actuarial advisor to President and leadership team, guiding pricing, profitability, and risks.
• Lead actuarial and financial analyses across products and lines to evaluate pricing, profitability, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Product Management to refine pricing strategies and portfolio management.
• Provide annual plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial objectives with actionable insights.
• Oversee regulatory filings, compliance governance, and enterprise-wide controls.
