Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC – Public Risk Group in Troy hybrid environment seeks a visionary Vice President of Actuarial and Business Operations to drive strategic leadership for actuarial, compliance, and business operations, supporting pricing, profitability, financial planning, and regulatory priorities.

Reporting to the Group President, you will guide pricing strategies, develop scalable processes, and lead talent strategies across multiple states to ensure profitable growth and strong governance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in property and casualty insurance with actuarial, business operations, or strategic leadership.
• At least 5 years in senior leadership roles leading teams or functions.
• ACAS designation required; FCAS designation preferred.
• Experience with pricing, profitability analysis, portfolio performance, and enterprise initiatives.
• Ability to partner with executive leadership on strategy and regulatory matters.
• Strong collaboration across underwriting, claims, finance, product, and operations.

• Advise President and leadership on pricing, profitability, and risk trends.
• Lead actuarial and financial analyses across products.
• Develop pricing strategies with underwriting and product teams.
