Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Vice President to lead Actuarial Claims Consulting, delivering advanced actuarial and reserving solutions for clients. The role blends technical expertise, client service, and project leadership across US offices with a hybrid model (3 days in office).

You will analyze data, build reserving models, and communicate findings. Requires 5+ years P&C actuarial experience; ACAS/FCAS preferred and a strong client-service orientation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of P&C actuarial experience with a strong reserving background.
• ACAS, FCAS preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, or a related field; other academic backgrounds may be considered with relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical & problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial, statistical, and actuarial data to develop reserving insights.
• Perform actuarial calculations to build complex reserving models and analytics tools.
• Maintain and develop efficiencies for existing reserving models.
• Investigate client issues and communicate findings through reports and presentations.
• Develop understanding of clients’ businesses and needs to provide practical solutions.
• Support management and execution of multiple projects, coordinating workstreams.
• Identify opportunities to support new and existing business and strengthen client relationships.
• Enhance tools and methodologies across the practice.
• Develop training materials and standards of practice for a new team
