Job summary

Marsh seeks a Vice President to lead the Actuarial Claims Consulting Practice, delivering advanced reserving and analytics solutions for clients across industries. The role combines technical actuarial expertise, client service, and project leadership, including development of tools, methodologies, and standards of practice.

You will drive complex reserving models, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with clients to address liabilities and business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, or a related field; other backgrounds may be considered with relevant experience
• 5+ years of P&C actuarial experience with a strong reserving background
• ACAS, FCAS preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical & problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial, statistical, and actuarial data to develop reserving, liability, and cash flow insights
• Perform actuarial calculations to build complex reserving models and analytics-based tools
• Build complex, bespoke reserving calculation models and other analytics-based tools
• Maintain and develop efficiencies for existing actuarial reserving models
• Investigate complex client issues and communicate findings through reports and presentations
• Develop understanding of clients’ businesses to provide informed solutions
• Support management and execution of multiple projects and coordinate workstreams
• Identify opportunities to support new and existing business and strengthen client relationships
• Enhance tools, processes, and methodologies across the practice
• Develop training materials and standards of practice for a new team
