Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated coordinator to guide new volunteers through onboarding, ensuring all documentation is gathered and entered into the system. The role supports assimilation into the organization and maintains daily volunteer office operations, including scheduling and reception duties.

The successful candidate will manage communications with volunteers, coordinate with departments, and ensure smooth onboarding to help the health system deliver compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Billing experience or knowledge of revenue cycle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide new volunteers through the on-boarding process and coordinate required documentation.
• Enter and coordinate volunteer data in the system (Samaritan) and ensure completion.
• Follow up with new volunteers and assist their assimilation into Corewell Health.
• Coordinate daily operations of the volunteer office, including reception, scheduling, and room reservations.
