Job summary

Reserve Care seeks a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to oversee and supervise volunteers across patient and non-patient care settings. You will coordinate assignments, ensure adequate staffing, and train volunteers to support clinicians, families and communities with compassionate, high‑quality care.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in volunteer programs, recruitment and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in social work, public administration or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in diverse settings.
• Ability to manage records, schedules and documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coordinate and supervise the activities of volunteers in both patient care and non-patient care settings.
• Provide volunteer support and serve as liaison to volunteers, team members and facility staff.
• Assign and schedule volunteers to meet patients’ and families’ needs; train and support volunteers.
• Design and implement community volunteer recruitment and engagement plans; promote integration with teams.
