Job summary

University of California San Diego Health is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator in Volunteer Services to oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention of hospital volunteers. The position reports to the Director of Experience Operations and will serve as a liaison for volunteers, staff, patients and community members.

Key duties include interviewing, onboarding and training volunteers, providing regular communication, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and using the volunteer database

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training.
• Five (5+) years coordinating volunteer activity or HR-related work.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to engage with team members at all levels.

Responsibilities
