Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• At least two years coordinating office/admin/Hr for a large department.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes the volunteer program plan in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer.
• Field inquiries from diverse public about how to become a volunteer.
• Maintains volunteer program materials per organizational standards.
• Partners with hospital departments and administration on volunteer needs and placements.
• Ensures compliance with background checks, health screenings, confidentiality, training, and onboarding.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for volunteers, addresses questions, and coordinates schedules.
• Coaches and motivates volunteers toward successful completion of duties.
• Seeks out and accepts work projects for volunteers; supervises completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintains volunteer database including contact info and years/hours served.
• Assists with planning volunteer appreciation events and recognition initiatives.
