Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio is seeking a LifeWise CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a CDL with P endorsement, a clean driving record, and successful completion of background checks and FMCSA Clearinghouse.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain safety, and support student welfare. Candidates must meet age requirements (21–80) and be willing to submit to drug testing and annual medical statements as

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDL with passenger (P) endorsement.
• School bus endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents in the last five years.
• Pass background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse check.
• Complete drug and/or alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular pre- and post-trip inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for students and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students with entering/exiting the vehicle and monitor behavior.
• Complete training required by LifeWise Academy.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed upon with the director.
