Maine Needs in Portland, ME is seeking a Program Support Coordinator to help run daily operations, supervise volunteers, and ensure donations are sorted and fulfilled efficiently. You will greet donors, guide volunteers, and coordinate with leadership to keep processes smooth.

This people-first role requires warmth, reliability, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment while supporting the operations team and volunteers during shifts.

• Dependable and punctual team player with a focus on volunteers.
• Able to delegate tasks and guide trainees.
• Organized approach to sorting donations and fulfilling requests.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for full shifts.

Mansioni

• Greet donors and welcome volunteers at the donation door and provide guidance.
• Sort donations, perform quality control, and ensure items meet standards.
• Assist in intake of USPS, FedEx, and large deliveries.
• Lead and support shift leaders to maintain smooth operations.
• Train new volunteers on procedures, safety, and expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space for volunteers and visitors.
• Communicate issues or shortages to Maine Needs leadership promptly.
