Job summary

Felton Institute in San Francisco seeks a Program Supervisor for the Children, Youth, Family and Transitional Age Youth division. You will oversee Felton Learning Center operations, supervise Head Teachers, and guide program planning, training, and compliance across sites.

You will lead inclusion initiatives, collaborate with families and partners, and ensure high-quality educational practices in developmentally appropriate activities. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field required; +3 years management/supervision in an Infant/Toddler program; Master’s in ECE preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for State of CA Site Supervisor Permit or above.
• Pass DOJ fingerprint clearance and Child Abuse Index clearance as required by licensing.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines.
• Experience working with children with identified special needs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Felton Learning Center and supervise Head Teachers.
• Support staff training and program administration, including planning and compliance.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development.
• Lead inclusion efforts for students with special needs and adapt curriculum accordingly.
• Foster partnerships with families, staff, and community-based organizations.
