Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to share gospel with public school students using LifeWise curriculum in a classroom setting.

The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, and proficient in teaching children. Training, classroom management, and community engagement are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters, including health concerns and permission slips.
• Keep classroom organized, safe, and engaging; enforce redemptive discipline and LifeWise policies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; attend events as needed.
