Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a LifeWise teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting, combining in-depth Bible knowledge with strong teaching abilities.

The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is caring, perceptive and proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include training, curriculum delivery, record-keeping, relationship-building, and representing LifeWise in the community.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and customize lessons.
• Invest in connecting with students through building relationships and praying for them.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment and adhere to LifeWise policies.
• Maintain attendance, rosters, and prepare materials for substitutes as needed.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director about schedule changes.
