Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom using the LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

A LifeWise teacher will complete initial training, teach LifeWise classes, maintain records, and communicate effectively with school personnel and volunteers to support student well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters and prepare materials for substitutes.
• Build relationships with students and volunteers and communicate schedule changes to staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
